The Animal Welfare Standards Project

The aim of the Animal Welfare Standards Project (AWSP) has been to improve farm animal welfare in the commercial livestock production sectors of South East and East Asia, via regional capacity building in animal welfare professional and scientific expertise.  Attaining this aim has been through training of researchers via the generation of nationally relevant research, and to provide educational and outreach resources for farm animal stakeholders.
