The Animal Welfare Toolbox is a free library of science-based resources on animal welfare.
Animal welfare science is a multi-disciplinary scientific field that aims to objectively assess and improve animal wellbeing using tools from a range of sciences including veterinary science, psychology, ethology, animal production, and physiology, among others. If you work with, own, or interact with animals the Animal Welfare Toolbox will provide you with important knowledge and skills to better understand your animal’s needs, which will help to keep them (and you) healthy and safe! Tools in the Animal Welfare Toolbox have been created by experts, and peer-reviewed by scientists, and can be downloaded.
