The tools below have been designed to teach you the frameworks of animal welfare.  

Receive a more in-depth understanding by clicking on tools specific to the framework of your interest. 

Performing a harm-benefit analysis is central to the ethical review of the use of animals in research and testing. This tool will teach users to identify both benefits of research and harms to the animals involved, and encourages objective consideration these when ethically reviewing research that involve animals (ethics committee members). The tool is also useful to those working directly with the animals, such as animal technicians, researchers, and laboratory animal veterinarians.

An interactive boardgame designed to encourage groups of players to think about the ways positive wellbeing can be optimised through holistic animal care practices, founded by compassion, ethics, common sense, scientific research. To be played online or as an easily printable physical activity. Perfect as part of a workshop, in the classroom, or as a team-building activity for peer learning.
